24th of July Weekend

We spent the weekend up at my Grandma Campbell's cabin. My Grandpa built this cabin with his own hands 33 years ago. My Dad was on his mission at the time. This past weekend we were admiring his work and all the nails it must of taken to build it. I was amazed to find out that he did it all without a power gun. The cabin needed some repairs done, so the guys helped replace some wires, installation and sheetrock. I think they were a little surprised to find some dead animals and their poopy poop that has probably been up for about 33 years. It was definitely gross.

When Kade wasn't fishing he was on this thing.

We took a little boat ride on the fishing boat. This was my Grandpa's boat and we somehow inherited it. For the most part it runs well but in the past we've had to be towed in a couple times and I was the lucky one that had to swim to the dock with a rope to reel it in, which was pretty embarrassing. So, I was hesitant to take it up but my Dad, Ryan and Kyle spent a day the week before replacing spark plugs and getting it ready for the big fishing trip. It actually worked great and the guys had fun fishing.

We had some more fun with sparklers at my parents' house on the 24th.



It started to rain while we were watching the Labrum's firework show. We all took cover in the garage.
